Absolute beginner step - by- step oil painting courses with
Bonny Hut:
6 week course / 3 hour classes:
Monday evenings: 6.30pm - 9.30pm
$ 290 (+ $7 online booking fee)
Includes:
Materials for the first class (please see what to bring page for details.)
PLUS
a 50 minute "Learn to paint in oils DVD.
Please note:
You will be provided with a 30cm x 40 cm canvas. If you would prefer to paint on a larger canvas this will
be great but due to storage space limitations you will have to take it home with you after each class.
Limited numbers: 12 people max.
Absolute beginners 6 week painting course structure:
We
generally have one hour discussion during the course followed by two
hours of painting.
You will be assisted every step of the way.
Week one: Principles of drawing, underpainting and the psychology behind how painting works.
Week two: Base layer of painting and art materials.
Week Three: How to paint detail and shading.
Week Four: All about canvasses and how to stretch them
Week Five: Colour theory and colour mixing.
Week Six: The principles of creating mood and the principles of design.
All about the art world.
And MUCH more!
